Atlanta-based quartet Black Lips have found a new home for their southern-fried garage punk. After two albums with Bomp and one on In The Red, the band has now signed with Vice and is already working on two records for their new label. Their first release, due January 23, is Live In Tijiuana, a live album (duh!) featuring their greatest hits, as well as some new tracks. A totally brand-new full-length is due sometime in the spring. For now, the skuzzy, funny band is keeping busy out on the road with Be Your Own Pet. Their already-in-progress tour continues through next weekend, where it will end in Atlanta, and tonight makes a stop in Brooklyn at Southpaw.
